My name is Emma George, I'm what most people call 'the school nerd'. But one thing's for sure...
I'm gonna change, big time. After what they did to me this year, they won't be forgiven that easily, next year will be different.
I have only ever had one good friend and that was Amelia Jacobs, who has helped me throughout the year. Until it came to the last day of school where she betrayed me to join up with the "popular" kids. That was the second reason I wanted to change, to be a different person to who I was.

Lettice Summers was used to a group of friends, decent test results, and a bully-free lifestyle. Was. Then she moved up to Secondary school. Now she has no friends, and because she has no friends she has more time, and because she has more time she spends it studying, and because she studies her grades improved, and because her scores went up, she got bullied.
