Kyla never had a family. To most people, that'd seem upsetting. A girl about to turn 15 without a family. Surprisingly, it didn't bother Kyla. Calling the fanciest orphanage in America "home" was a gift from god. Living in luxury, enjoying upperclass orphans, having a room that was basically an entire house. Kyla was happily living without any parents or siblings, it all seemed like a dream come true.
Until she found out that she was getting adopted by a family named the Lautrec's. Kyla was waiting to see a large mansion in front of her with beautiful scenery, possibly a giant swimming pool, a stunning estate with butlers and maids tending to her request. But what she found..wasn't that. Now friends with her new siblings, they go to find out the secrets that live in the Lautrec house. And what they find is quite the surprise.

THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN WHEN I WAS LIKE TEN. ITS VERY BAD LMAO Staffie and her dog Unicorn, a white great dane puppy, move to her uncle and aunt's mansion after her parents 'died'. her uncle and aunt have to go on a business trip, leaving Staffie and Unicorn in a house full of boys... vampire boys. they all look to be around the same age, but in reality are thousands of years apart. she falls in love with the eldest out of the six brothers; Tayson, or Tay for short. when some questions of her past pop up, she has figure out who or more like WHAT she is. when she discovers her true identity, things turn upside down in her life. even if that's possible. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible. Reapers keep taking lives, and Humans continue feering them. and so, the couple grabbed their baby girl; Staffie. their hellhound; Unicorn and grabbed their death scythe's. -one year later- they arrived in a human city where some friends lived. "Mitch, what are we going to do now?" "we will live like humans for as long as possible. and, if we're lucky, we can keep this awful fate of being a Reaper from our daughter." he said looking down at the small child holding his hand tightly. and they did keep being a Reaper from her. and, when she turned 18 the decided they should tell her; but not empty handed. so they left to get her a death scythe. little did they know; they would never see her again. and she would have to figure it out on her own.Завершенная история

Things changed, though. They found a dead body on our property and everyone scrambled to lock the doors and bar the windows. The normal kids at school all started to edge away from us, from me in particular. They called us witches and devil worshippers. They were scared they might be next. I couldn't keep my nose out of where it didn't belong and then everyone was involved in the mystery.
