Seventeen year old Alicia ("Alicia Jackson, clever as a devil but twice as pretty, nice to meet you.") was a runner - literally and figuratively. Not only was she part of her school's cross-country team but she had a certain ...um... affinity for running from her ...um... problems. Also, she kinda had a job in a secret *cough*kingdom*cough*. But that's another story.  

Eventually, the girl learns that there are certain things she can't run away from, certain things she finds, she doesn't ever want to run away from and it all makes the world a better place, not just for herself.

Acacia loves no one other than her adoptive father because in the wasteland most people don't love at all and think of themselves to be a curse. They embark on many worlds in the mission to make them better places whether it'd be covertly in the shadows or out in the open working together with the many kinds of people living there all while having an adventure unlike any other. These are their stories. Basically, it's isekai to MULTIPLE worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can.
