"Ah, so this is the Insecticon Queen you brought to the ship. It's very nice to finally meet you . . .,"
"Y/D."
"This is my third-in-command, Soundwave, and you've already met my second-in-command Starscream, my Chief Medical Officer, Knockout, and our current hive leader, Hardshell. Finally, this is my lieutenant for all of our science projects, Shockwave." . . . "With that done, I'm very excited to be working with you, your majesty."
"As am I."
"But if you ever decide to betray me, I will not hesitate to execute you. You are beneath me, no matter what you may believe."

You are a successful, self-proclaimed entomologist on your way to visit a couple new friends and colleagues. You had all planned on visiting a butterfly museum for the day, but it seemed not all was that way.
Studying bugs was all you'd ever been interested in. Even as a little girl, whether it was butterflies or spiders, none of them had scared you. And, when you'd found these larger, alien insect-like creatures roaming around a gigantic cave, you had immediately become more curious than fearful.
And on your way to the butterflies, you'd gone to check on them like you'd been doing for months. Of course, like curiosity killed the cat, it almost killed you as well, and you fell into a situation that changed your life forever.
Will you find love? The Autobots? What will happen? Find out in 'Life Itself', a book less cheesy than the end of its summary.

"His mind and body will crumble until there is nothing left but a former husk, and then I will build. I will give him everything you so selfishly denied him; his spark will be enlightened, and then he will become a true Decepticon."
___
"And just as I did with him, you will be broken."
"Never."
"I guarantee it."

Jack stayed behind to retrieve the data stick from the Nemesis database, hoping to give the Autobots the edge they need to collect relics of mass destruction and keep them out of Decepticon hands. He was nearly cornered and dissected by Knock Out, but Ratchet came to his rescue, ready to retreat when they are stopped in their tracks by Megatron.
Captured and held prisoner aboard the very ship they had saved, Ratchet and Jack must work together to resist the torture inflicted upon them by the Decepticons. As the Autobots work to get their friends back, Megatron begins to utilize twisted tactics and sick mind games in order to break their wills. If there is one thing the warlord is, it is persistent; and he will have his victory.
Rated Mature for graphic (physical, mental, emotional) violence and dark themes.
[NOTE: This is a dual-story, meaning the first and second are all put together in one work; this means BATTLE CRY is the sequel to BRAINWASHED, and there will not be a third book. Thank you all for reading.]
