Adam

Adam is the first book in a series. It is a high fantasy novel with elements of suspense, thrill, intrigue, enchantment and romance.

When young Adam wakes up in a strange land, he finds that his memory and his entire past have vanished. Puzzled by the young girl Sirion, whom he finds crouching beside him as he awakes; a strange medallion clasped in his hand, recurring visions, strange earthquakes and a bewitching forest, he finds no end to his confusion.

Accustomed to delivering messages for his father Mr. Echart, the supercilious informant to malevolent King Artemis, Circe is on an errand once again. While on his mission he witnesses a shocking incident involving Adam. So he follows Adam and Sirion deep into the forest, until they suspect he is shadowing them, and head-on they meet. Petrified, Circe becomes involved in the mystery surrounding Adam.

It happens that Sirion's family, as advised by the mystifying Lady of Light, takes Adam under their charge. It is there he grows into adulthood. As he matures, his visions and dreams increase, bringing him closer to solving the mystery. Yet with each piece of the puzzle new questions emerge. Increasingly, he discovers that his new acquaintances, their world Terra and its inhabitants, though poles apart, bear little likeness to him.

On reaching eighteen, Adam, a remarkable warrior, decides to enter the Annual Tournament of the Realms to be held in Hudor that year. He journeys there where he flourishes as the champion of the tournament. Meanwhile, an unfailing evil waxes in the North, at the lair of the Dark Lord Draco. Soon Lord Draco and his evil accomplices, realize their greatest anxiety: They suspect Adam as the prophesied one who will bring their downfall.

Pitted against this Dark Lord, Adam escapes and journeys across the Realms, accompanied by a new formed alliance. Together they help him solve the mystery of his past, the strange medallion and an unfulfilled prophesy.
