The Centipede And The Butterfly

The centipede is a highly detested creature with a pair of legs for each body segment, making it easy for it to stalk and paralyse its prey with its fatal venom. The butterfly is a beautiful insect with luminous wings ranging of many different colours and three pairs of legs joined to its abdomen, as it silently flutters through soft breezes. It will occasionally land on brightly coloured flowers to feast upon the nectar, and whilst it does this, it seems it is unaware of actions going on around it. The perfect prey for a hungry centipede.
