Fernkit is born into Thunderclan. Her parents are Stormcloud and Ivypool, and her siblings are Oakkit, Cloverkit and Timberkit. Then, the day comes when she and her siblings become apprentices. They were on their way to become warriors at last! Thunderclan has many strong warriors, and peace has ruled the territories around the lake for almost three years now. Fernpaw's mentor is Ambermoon, but the ginger she-cat has been acting strangely, and always avoided Fernpaw when she was a kit. After half a moon, the grey she-cat has had enough of her mentor's strange acts, and asks her why she behaves like that. Ambermoon then reveals the truth, and Fernpaw wished that she had never asked her mentor about it. But her dreams have been troubled and dark, and the same prophecy keeps repeating itself. "Darkness will enfold the forest. Blood will bring death, and death will bring the end." But Ambermoon hides a dark secret, and soon Fernpaw will become a part of it.

Dawncurl is born into perfection. Her mother always told her that life was a blessing and that she should never take it for granted. By now her fur stood on end but Flamestar looked terrifyingly calm. "I suppose, but the way I see it there should only be one clan not two. How ridiculous our ancestors decided it." Flamestar said with a curious tone. "I shall make this short before we depart young warrior - I'd watch my back from now on if I were you." the orange she-cat said thoughtfully. Timberheart leapt off the boulder "Is that a threat?!" he growled. Flamestar thought her words over "Maybe. Lakeclan to me!" she yowled before either of them had time to respond. A death sentence just waiting to happen Leopardwillow thought sadly. Dovesong was right; A war was on the verge of happening and not even Starclan could stop that. All Characters are my own ©
