This story was not made to glorify the victories experienced by players during numerous playthroughs of the mass effect series, and will definitely have a few changes in major plot points in regards to Commander Shepard's story. It's important to understand that in 'Grunts of the Alliance', the threat known as the reapers were slowly wiped out under the lead of Shepard, and no history or recollection of the crucible is apparent in the story. For those who don't understand basic military Jargon or understand specific phrases, please do not worry! I'll make it my priority to teach you along with the main character, in a first-person narrative to the best of my ability. Lastly 'Grunts of the Alliance' is a story primarily focusing on combat and training from a newly enlisted recruit's point of view, and will not be changing direction unless it can create opportunities for character development.
