No one really knows how it happened but Dumbledore, Sirius, McGonagall, even Snape believed she had died with their parents. So when Dumbledore got word she in a group foster care home in Brighton, he finally told Harry and traveled with McGonagall to retrieve the young Potter. **I set my story to Mature Content. I'm not planning on dropping "F" bombs (As my Dad would say) every other paragraph, but I'm just being cautious. I will be using some language and, as in the movies, people will die.**
