In a world different from ours, a world in which fate chooses your partners there are two young souls destined to meet.
Natsu Dragneel, a boy who used to be upbeat and energetic. No matter what happened, he could always find a way to look at it from a positive angle. That is until the accident that changed his whole view on the universe. The once happy young boy, was now locked in a world grief and sorrow.
And Lucy Heartfilia, a girl with the power to heal not just wounds, but hearts. Though everything is not as it seems with this young girl. Despite her optimistic personality and caring character, she has scars buried deep. Ever since she could remember she was being beaten and abused by her father. But no matter how hard he beat her, he wasn't strong enough to break her spirit or her smile.
What will happen when these two young souls intertwined by fate, meet face to face?
