I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! After her parents died on her birthday and she was thrown into the foster system she developed a passion for kids and their mental capacities. Her life was regular to her nothing out of the normal or too outrageous. She didn't have friends besides her work buddy who was a bit eccentric. She didn't have a boyfriend because of her fear of abuse after her last boyfriend and foster family. She was plain, dull, and simple.
