Rose never wanted to grow up to be a cleric. She wanted to live peacefully and cook good meals and have a family. Unfortunately, that's not what the universe wants. Rather, she finds herself trained as a cleric and kidnapped by dark elves. To make matters worse, she escaped with her handsome friend Peyton and a strong half-djinn man named Vinlithor. Now the dark elves are after all of them, and with every step comes another complication.

Peyton was changed into a vampire at a young age, and even after he managed to become human again, years of evil interest have tainted his clerical mind. The young Rose holds a blood sweeter than any he had ever known, and he is determined to drink it at least once. He gets close to Rose as they escape the Underdark, but she still is unaware of his secret and pushes him away. He's not worried about the dark elves hunting them down, but rather for the safety of his "prey"...All Rights Reserved

He takes his chance and grabs her, but much to his dismay looks can be deceiving. As it turns out this man is actually a vampire and the girl he thought was the perfect victim was actually anemic. Sadly for him he just found out the hard way that anemic blood doesn't taste very good. Shortly after attempting to drink the young girls blood he starts to fret over her health wanting to control her diet and wanting to put her on medicine to get the iron levels in her blood system up. Sadly for him she will have none of it. She can take care of herself she doesn't some random man who just tried to eat her to do that for her. None the less he won't take no as an answer.
