This is a self-insert fanfic, meant to counter some of the stereotypes of them.  It doesn't really work, but I hope you enjoy it anyway!

“Hello, and welcome to the Aperture Science Testing Facility.” A female says, sounding slightly robotic and- surprised.  GLaDOS is never surprised.  Frankly, though, I’m a bit off too.  Who wouldn’t be after suddenly appearing in a Relaxation Chamber?
“What is your name?” she interrogates, sounding more human than she’s ever sounded before.  Perhaps she’s still confused.  I quickly discard my real name, Chell, and Minerva.  After a few seconds, I respond.

Persephone Jackson just wanted a brief hiatus to rest and recover after the Second Giant War. Of course that was never possible because the fates hated her. Articles upon articles on this girl having performed incredible feats- surviving kidnappings, gunfights, property destruction, evading the police, among other things. "I guess we'll start in Manhattan. That's apparently where she lived at the time of the earliest article." Artemis skimmed back through the first article on her phone. They had all taken to looking her up themselves since it was just that easy. "Sounds like a plan, but we shouldn't go quite yet. We need to be careful, so the League doesn't catch on." Robin said, to which they all nodded in agreement. They all retreated back into the mountain and went to either the Zeta tubes or their rooms, depending on where they resided. They had begun hunting for Persephone Jackson without the permission of the Justice League. --- A female Percy Jackson and Young Justice story. Roy Harper/Red Arrow is the romantic interest in this story and be warned that it will cover hard topics like drug abuse, alcohol abuse, addiction, smoking, death, ect. So since I haven't seen a fic with this concept, I'm doing it. This could be interpreted as a self insert, you just have to ignore the descriptions for the OC and change it however you want. This is my OC, Artemis's, backstory. Artemis is a fennec fox, don't ask why, I thought is was cute. Keep in mind, this is all fake, my life isn't actually like this. I suppose you all know that an OC and the real person are two completely different individuals most of the time. Unlike me, who is fatherless, Artemis is motherless. I drew the cover photo, it's not the best, but it's cute. Artemis's name is Ash (like mine) but then it becomes Artemis later on. You'll understand that better when you read. Also, I took that Soldier, Poet, King quiz. I'm a king/ruler, hence the title. For some reason, when I took that quiz, it made me want to make an OC with a backstory. I have no idea why. So I decided to incorporate that into the backstory. ANDDDDD, my OC has nothing to do with the goddess Artemis. Artemis is just the name I chose. So don't be in the comments like "actually, in Greek mythology, Artemis is like THIS" because I know. I love Greek mythology and stuff like that. I know quite a bit about it.
