This is a self-insert fanfic, meant to counter some of the stereotypes of them.  It doesn't really work, but I hope you enjoy it anyway!

“Hello, and welcome to the Aperture Science Testing Facility.” A female says, sounding slightly robotic and- surprised.  GLaDOS is never surprised.  Frankly, though, I’m a bit off too.  Who wouldn’t be after suddenly appearing in a Relaxation Chamber?
“What is your name?” she interrogates, sounding more human than she’s ever sounded before.  Perhaps she’s still confused.  I quickly discard my real name, Chell, and Minerva.  After a few seconds, I respond.
“I am Artemis.”All Rights Reserved

Subject 3281; Chell's Story ni UnisonBeck

Test. That was what she did, and Subject 3281 did it well. She was the model subject, fit, strong, on time, and most of all... obedient. That's how she was, until one fateful day, when the higher-ups at Aperture Science figured that they could get more out of their testing if two subjects were present, and so launched the "Aperture Science Co-operative Testing Initiative", pairing Subject 3281 with another Test subject. A boy. A boy who forced Subject 3281 to re-think her complacency, to yearn for freedom as they all did. To begin thinking like the girl she had been; instead of the person she had become. ~----------------------------------~ So, I was writing a short story one day, and realized that--with a bit of tweaking--this could turn into a Portal 2 fan-fic! While I do believe that Blue Sky is the BEST fan-fic for Portal 2 out there, and deserves to be canon, I think that this is still a relatively believable Chell backstory. (This is set after Cave Johnson's death, and before Caroline/GLaDOS killed everyone but the test subjects with neurotoxin, and placed Chell in stasis.) Enjoy! This is not a Chelley fan-fic, and doesn't include Wheatley, as this is set prior to the timeline of the first game. I don't own Portal, Portal 2, or the characters in the game; but this story is my own, from my imagination. I also don't own the amazing cover art, and I don't know who does... same goes for the chapter art, they're all either off of Google or Pinterest! 😂 P.S. the first chapter sort of "sets the scene" for the rest of the book, so bear with me!

So since I haven't seen a fic with this concept, I'm doing it. This could be interpreted as a self insert, you just have to ignore the descriptions for the OC and change it however you want. Though I doubt it. There is usage of female pronouns. Check out my other story called 'Dance With the Dead'! (Even though I haven't updated it in a while 😅)

To say that the Gladers were extremely confused once they realized who was sent up in the lift this time, was a complete exaggeration. Much like everyone else, you were just as confused and lost. With no memory before waking up in that box, the only clue to all this chaos was a vague writing in your arm, no knowledge who wrote it and what it exactly meant. In this seemingly hopeless place, will your arrival make a difference? Or will you just make things even worse? [NEWTXREADER] -currently editing the entire fic as of 2022 since I have plans on changing into Newt x OC. Not sure though. 📍A/N: This fanfiction is more likely to stay true to the movie than the movie was to the books.

Persephone Jackson just wanted a brief hiatus to rest and recover after the Second Giant War. Of course that was never possible because the fates hated her. The Young Justice team was hot on her trails over something she thought had been cleared up with the Justice League. --- "How can we even be sure she's involved?" Artemis asked. "All we have is a name." "And now we have a picture." Robin flipped pulled the image up and showed the team-a slightly blurry child but very much the girl who materialized before them earlier. "I think it's safe to say she's involved." "Well, now what?" Megan asked. "We dont know where she is or how to find her." "We could Google her." Conner suggested. "Don't be ridiculous. We'll only come up with social media accounts. It's useless." Robin said. Miss Martian ignored the black haired boy and looked up the name on Google.com . To say the least, they found more than just social media accounts. Articles upon articles on this girl having performed incredible feats- surviving kidnappings, gunfights, property destruction, evading the police, among other things. "I guess we'll start in Manhattan. That's apparently where she lived at the time of the earliest article." Artemis skimmed back through the first article on her phone. They had all taken to looking her up themselves since it was just that easy. "Sounds like a plan, but we shouldn't go quite yet. We need to be careful, so the League doesn't catch on." Robin said, to which they all nodded in agreement. They all retreated back into the mountain and went to either the Zeta tubes or their rooms, depending on where they resided. They had begun hunting for Persephone Jackson without the permission of the Justice League. --- A female Percy Jackson and Young Justice story. Roy Harper/Red Arrow is the romantic interest in this story and be warned that it will cover hard topics like drug abuse, alcohol abuse, addiction, smoking, death, ect.
