I'm not normal. I was once. Now I guess all I am is a freak. A freak... If a freak is being someone who doesn't sell themselves to be liked. Then to me being a freak isn't an insult. Their never original. It's always the same things said.  it's easy to block out. I don't waste my power of "My Eyes" on them they aren't worth it, not to me. If anything they make me stronger. I shouted back, I will not follow his stupid orders and over my dead body will I go back there just to be humiliated, "why don't you just reject me already? What the hell are you waiting for? I don't wanna be here stuck with you and clearly you hate me put us both out our misery and reject me Mason" He frowned and signaled a guard, "take her away."

Vampires aren't just blood-craving monsters who hunt humans; we are peaceful. We do have sharp fangs, that much is true, but we aren't allergic to garlic; in fact, some of us love it, myself included. We don't burst into flame, or melt in the sunlight, and we definitely do not sparkle in the sun either. As vampires, we live for thousands, and sometimes even hundreds of thousands of years (if a pesky, self-righteous human doesn't drive a stake into our heart first...). I am not young by vampire terms. New and young vampires, are "Newlings". Until a vampire is at least one hundred years old, they can't turn a human into a vampire, and are considered a Newling. But I'm what we call a "Maturling". Maturlings are at least a century old. In vampire years, I'm one hundred, on the dot. Though in human years, I'm about twenty-one. There is a third category of vampires called "Purelings". Purelings are vampires who have always been － well, vampires, － and have never had a single human in their family tree. Purelings, unlike all other vampires, can turn a human at any age. (Imagine being turned into a vampire by a toddler... yikes). Like with all cultures, there are things that are forbidden. For vampires, we are not allowed, by any means, to turn a human out of spite, or if they refuse to be one of us, but when feelings are surface, they can change things forever...

Paranormal Romance (Werewolf) You know that movie Jerry Maguire? It's about this sports agent who got fired for suddenly having a conscience. Anyway, there's this very romantic scene by the end of the movie when Jerry made this very heartfelt and passionate declaration to his wife. Those words would melt you into a puddle and make you burst into tears thinking, "I want to have that kind of love!" Well that very sweet scene did not happen on this story, not all of it anyway. Don't get me wrong it was heart wrenching, very much so, and there was a passionate declaration. But instead of saying the oh so loving, oh so sweet and oh so scripted "I love you. You complete me..." like Jerry did in the movie, my 'mate', the other half of my soul and the one who 'completes' me said, "I hate you. I wish you were dead!" He said it with disgust and anger burning in his eyes. He didn't run into my arms like he was supposed to, he ran away from it. But who could blame him? Jerry Maguire was right. We live in a cynical world and we work on a business of tough competitors. Why would my mate want to be with me? He'd be shunned and be forever laughed at. Aside from the fact that I was male, I'm basically useless to him because I'm a werewolf who can't phase. He's an alpha. He could have anyone he wants. And me, well, I'm on the bottom of the pack, the runt of the litter. The council didn't know what to do with me. They couldn't kill me since it could drive my mate insane, even if he didn't want me. I can't kill myself because it would probably have the same effect on him. I have to live but I can't be with my mate and my pack. So I made it easier for everyone, I ran away. I always believed in the saying "Out of sight, out of mind." What I didn't consider was the possibility that they'd come after me and forcefully bring me back.
