Three years after the events of the original the town and guild have recovered very nicely. There are many new members and Zax is now the guildmaster. But strange things begin happening. Odd forms of Pokemon begin appearing everywhere and a new threat it on the rise.

This story is a sequel to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Truth and Book 2 of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Shadow Saga.
