However, a surprising event leads him to face his past and gives a new direction to his life. Family has always been his worst fear, but he could not have imagined even in his nightmares the situations he will have to face on his journey. This story takes place about 3 years after book number 15. Contains characters and references to events from the three Wings of Fire book series, including the Dragonslayer. So if you haven't read the books, this story might spoil their plot.
