Eden Miller, 15,  has been living with her mother and mother only since he was 9 years old. Her brother, Scottie, was kicked out of the Miller house by her father, after he relentlessly tried to kill Sharon, his and Eden's mother. Eden's father is killed in a fire at work two months after Scottie left the house. Eden thinks that it was Scottie that set the fire off.
