A horrible plague leaves the whole world dead, it was a simple virus, you got the fever, the shakes, and deathly pale. But what makes this virus so different is,

You die. But you don't stay that way.

You become a flesh hungry monster and non stop kill, with no soul, no sense of regret, nothing. You become a mindless monster wandering around the dead earth waiting for the day for someone to put you down, until then, you're nothing.

Haley Phillips was a med-student before the outbreak just as she's about to graduate and become a fully licensed nurse, the world turns to shit, taking everything and everyone she's ever lived along with it, and replacing them with blood hungry monsters.

She's just trying to survive along with her best friend, Travis Marsh and his girlfriend Amber White.

Steal, kill, and run. Is everyday life now, so desperate for supplies and starved for help, The trio go on a supply run, only to learn they aren't the only survivors around.

Elliot Burns was nothing special before the outbreak, just a simple mechanic with a shitty apartment and a forever complaining girlfriend. He was just trying to get by,

But that was 7 months ago, before the outbreak, before the world went to shit, and before he met Haley.

He was simply to keep watch on the small house he had occupied with his group .He sees a small figure trying to break in, cautious to raiders he aims his gun but quickly lowers it at the sight of the beautiful young girl,

What he didn't know is that girl would soon mean so much to him, and he'd die to protect in the upcoming months

In a matter of days, half of the world's population was either dead or turned. The government collapsed, TV and radio stations shut down, and everyone was left to fend for themselves. Kelley lost everything in the beginning. Her family, her house, even her small hometown in the state of Georgia. So she decided to leash up her dog, a Belgian Malinois named Bud, gather some supplies, and head towards Atlanta. She encounters a small group along the way. Survivors just like her, with stories and losses of their own. She soon becomes close to them, feeling like she has found another family, and she will do anything to protect them. This is a story of lost, love, survival, and surprises. The world doesn't care that you are alone, doesn't care if you're hungry, and doesn't care that death lurks around every corner. The undead feed on the living and the living can't be trusted. As the days pass and the world she knew was gone, she keeps a record of everything that has happened since first night. In a world where previous history is long forgotten, Kelley believes it is necessary to write down her journey and keep track of all things apocalyptic, so that maybe one day it will help others learn how to survive... and not make the same mistakes she has. So, let's start at the beginning.
Heart Of The Apocalypse by viLYNNous
3 parts Ongoing Mature
The world we once new was gone, now a world full of fear and death has taken its place. The end of the world, some would call it, others, took this as a chance to begin again. What was more dangerous? The end of the world, or a completely new one? Sometimes, it is not death you have to fear...but the living. Verena was now trapped in a world where every day is now a harsh fight for survival, but even the smallest remnants of life cling to the past, clutching at it in desperation. The echoes of humanity are found in the most unexpected places, reminding us that hope is a fragile, yet resilient force. In the heart of the apocalypse, Dr Verena Vesper was a fierce and guarded survivor with a strong will and mind along with an unwavering sense of duty to protect those in need. However, her intimidating aura and lack of expression along with her hot temper causes her many complications and misunderstandings. Despite this, she finds an unexpected soulmate in Maggie Greene, her unyielding spirit, devoted loyalty and genuine sincerity a stark opposite to her, yet her other half. Amidst the chaos and danger, their bond grows stronger through all the hardships and with every obstacle they overcome, they grow closer, becoming eachothers flame in the darkness. Verena's rugged exterior softens around Maggie's resilience, while Maggie's strength is fortified by Verena's fierce resolve. Together, they navigate the harsh world with a bond that is both a sanctuary and a powerful force, proving that even in the end times, love can burn brightly and fiercely, and that hope, is the most resilient force of all. The world hasn't ended just yet, not while Verena is still breathing. A/N: Obviously I don't own TWD or any of its characters or plot, I only own my own ideas and writing. I am also working on this story with a partner who came up with the story and character! Updates: As often as possible. (And yes, this is GxG/wlw.) <3
Fragmented Morality by UnlikelyKings
12 parts Ongoing Mature
When the world collapses around you and everything that was 'normal' decays, discerning reality is no longer an innate process, but rather a distorted sense of one's self. Reality was now something created on the basis of an individual's morality and a group's ability to coexist. However, when this was the way of living before the apocalypse, when this was how Christopher Peletier had to survive every day of his life- surviving based entirely on his step-fathers fragmented morality, what changed? What made now different from before? The answer is nothing. The world was exactly the same, and eighteen-year-old Chris had a plan. For his family, he separates himself from the truth. He knows he is more than what he was told, he knows what is, will not be forever. He knows he is strong enough to keep his loved ones safe, too. If he could just endure a little more so that, when the time came, he could take the opportunity granted to him to free himself, his mother, and his sister from their constraints. At the first chance he got, he was going to live by first destroying the part of his life that made his family quiet and miserable. That way nobody would ever be able to dictate the way he, or the ones he cared about, lived their lives. - This is just a story I'm writing alongside my main one when I am in the mood. This means there is nothing saying when it will be updated, but I do have plans for it just like my other one!
