Suddenly, I felt a stranger feeling enter my hands. Like as if my anger had taken form into blue flames of fire. My eyes widened as I saw it. Fire engulfing every single one of them and surrounding my staff and hands.
When the smoke cleared, I looked around slowly. Burn marks covered the floor and A.I.s while some were no more than ashes.
"You're a Bearer."
"I know and I don't want this! I never did! Why am I a Bearer?! Why did I not know for so many years?!?!"
She looked at me with a compassionate gaze. "Dianne, did you think anyone wants this? The power that we all share?"
I stopped. My hands were still shaking as we floated weightlessly in the strange space she brought me in.
She took my hands and pulled me closer. "But the Creator made us this way for a reason. Fight now, Dianne, and you will receive the answers you ask for. May the Creator watch over you now."
