You asked, I delivered. This is the official sequel to my very first story on this website, "Break the Cycle". This story begins exactly where "Break the Cycle" left off; Christmas Day. It's a day of celebration for the Cerulli family, and the new year marks a new beginning for them all. That is, of course, until things get complicated. Ghorror | Angeless | Crime AU; Motionless In White Fan Fic, though can be enjoyed without being an MIW fan. This is a rewrite/revamping of both Sanity books - including a massive amount of new content. I'm approaching this assuming most people reading it have read the originals, but I'll still do my best to keep the twists as dramatic and impactful. As for the members who are no longer members, I'll be treating them as essentially fictional characters. Given the nature of this book, it will be backed up on my AO3. Same username.

All through high school, Chris Cerulli was seen as a misfit; an outcast. However, he still had his friends, his band, and his girlfriend. He was ordinary. He lived a fairly normal life that a fairly normal teenager would typically live. The only thing he ever really worried about was if his parents could stop arguing long enough to put food on the table and what he would do after high school if music couldn't work out. And then, the McClains moved in next door. They had a daughter about Chris' age, McKayla. By some, incredible miracle, McKayla ended up liking the majority of the things that Chris was interested in as well; including music and fashion sense. She absolutely adored Motley Crue, she loved to read comic books and she could even skateboard. McKayla very easily and very quickly becomes friends with Chris and his friends. However, demons of McKayla's past soon return to haunt her, and they end up affecting her friends and the ones that she loves. All of this while she finds herself catching feelings for Chris; and he, her. McKayla begins to wonder if running away from her problems is the best solution, even if it means leaving the one she loves behind. Because running away from him, just might be the only thing that keeps him safe.

For years, a group of protesters has stood outside venues throughout Pennsylvania that Motionless in White played in, accusing them of being evil, Satanic, the list goes on. A man named Paul Lawrence was always at the head of this protest group, a pastor who preached hate, anger, and everything in between. Due to the protests, Motionless in White began receiving letters from Paul's daughter, Eve, apologizing for her father's hateful acts. With each letter received, the band - and Chris in particular - grow to admire Eve for her willingness to step out beyond her father's teachings and show some humanity. After years of receiving her letters but never seeing her in person, Chris finally meets her by chance one day. A small, timid, conservatively dressed woman, living a lie to please her father. Chris had heard rumors of Paul Lawrence's life, one of them being that he beat his daughter, but Chris wasn't sure if that was true upon meeting Eve. The only thing he did know was that he was surely falling in love with her, and would do anything in his power to be with her and take her away from the awful fate that lay before her...

Chris Motionless first discovered the all-girl metal band, Tag, You're It when they were all on Warped Tour together and he started up a conversation with their drummer, Reed. After discovering that all of the members are female and getting to talk to them here and there over the course of Warped Tour, he discovers that there's something very interesting about them; their singer, Hunter DeMonic, in particular. So, once Warped Tour ends, Tag, You're It is invited to tour with Motionless in White on Motionless' next headlining our. Of course, Tag, You're It agrees to go on this tour. However, the band as currently struggling with some issues with certain members of the band, and it results in them having to get a new bass player for the next tour. This new bass player is Blake, a spunky red-head with a shy personality, but who is killer on stage. Chris notices in himself an attraction to this Blake, but also to Hunter, and he finds himself torn between them. Do either of the members of Tag, You're It have feelings for Chris as well? As he gets to know them on a more personal level, it appears that they may. However. Hunter has a very strict no-dating-members-of-bands-we-tour-with rule due to problems with their old bassist. When Blake feels like love is an actual possibility with Chris, will Hunter allow this rule to be broken? Will the tour turn into a disaster because of this love-triangle? Trust me, this is not your typical band-member-dates-another-band-member story. This one is QUITE different, and you will definitely want to see what happens when Blake LaClarke is brought into Tag, You're It.

Chris Cerulli met Naomi Shannon in 2012 on Motionless in White's American Infamous Tour. She was, at the time, doing merch for Stick to Your Guns, and the two of them hit it off immediately. You could easily say that Chris fell in love with Naomi the minute he first laid eyes on her; but Naomi remained completely oblivious to it, even as their friendship grew. Three and a half years later, Chris and Naomi have remained great friends. Naomi had since stopped doing merch and just sort of drifted from place to place - including crashing with Chris when she came into town. Now, however, she's looking to stay in one place for a while; and when Chris informs her that his roommate has moved out, Naomi sees her opportunity. Chris takes Naomi in with open arms, still hopelessly in love with her. He feared telling her his true feelings, out of fear that she wouldn't feel the same and that it would ruin the great friendship that they already had. And so, he continued to watch Naomi live and move on with her life, unaware that her roommate had such strong feelings for her.
