"Now let's go, we need to go to the night classes front gate." I nodded as we both stoop up. When I took one step, I slipped from the water on the ground and Zero managed to catch me in his arms. We both stared at each other for what seemed like a long period of time. As his beautiful lavender eyes stared at mine, I felt as if we were frozen in time. Just the touch of his hands on my waist sends chills down my spine.
But that moment was short lived when we heard someone cough behind Zero. We both looked to see Yuki glaring at us like she wanted to rip my head off. Oh shit! I forgot that Yuki had a thing for Zero to.

Darkness. That's all I could see. Everywhere I looked, the inky blackness engulfed my vision. I squinted, searching for any speck of light, but found nothing. "Hello?!" My shouts echoed unanswered into the void. Panic rose as the darkness pressed down. I was alone here, floating in nothingness. I racked my aching mind, trying to recall how I came to be trapped in this endless night. Then, I heard it. A voice, calling my name. It repeated like a broken record, pleading for me to wake up. Could I be...dead? Slowly, I opened my eyes, wincing as sunlight flooded in through a nearby window. Blinking, I took in my surroundings - a hospital room. I glanced right to see cabinets stocked with medicine, then left, where a familiar pair of dull gray eyes met my violet ones. Relief, care, guilt, and confusion swirled in those stormy irises. Confusion...over what I was. The question I dreaded to answer. I pulled the covers off my legs and tried to stand up. My attempt of standing up failed. But I tried again. I was so dizzy I fell against the nightstand, successfully catching Dante's attention. - Go back to sleep pet. He sternly stated. - I don't want to sleep with you watching me. - Can't you see I'm not even paying attention to you. He said not even making eye contact. - I don't care your mere presence is still annoying. I tried to stand again and I was finally able to stand on my feet. I looked up at the ceiling and whispered a thank you, for not embarrassing myself by falling down again. I made my way to the bathroom but my legs gave up on me half way through. I internally slapped myself and groaned. I fell down supporting my upper bodys weight with my shaking hands. I heard him sigh and saw him stand up. - Why can't you just listen to me once? He asked crouching down to my level. - I already told you why. He traced my lips with his thumb and held my chin up making me gaze into his dark eyes. - If you want to get up so badly, then you have ten minutes to shower and change. I want you outside all done. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete

[Being Edited] Ok this is going to be more mental then the last Fic and some what commidic. Its going to be after ichiru's death. And Kaname and Yuki will be at Cross Academy. Yuki will still be human and they will be living their normal lives. Except Zero. After Zero "Killed" Ichiru he's been talking to him almost every day mentally, as if he was his conscience. And to top it off he's been having memories of events that hasnt happened. Or have they? Everyone else remebers it. But why not him... does Ichiru hold the Answers, or is he just a figment of Zero's imagination? This is a Zero x Kaname with a hint of Ichiru in the mix and i will still have other ships in it like my last one, no real big plot besides romance ether. Enjoy! In Shadows of Night
I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth. A scream rips from my lungs as hands cover my face and two icy blue eyes stare back at me, daring me to speak again. A soft cloth caressed my nose and mouth before I felt myself fade into bed.
