'Her heart pounded as loud as church bells. This was it. She was going to die in this corner, at the hands of a greedy soldier who would do just about anything for money. He drew his sword and grinned madly at the young girl. "Any last words, girl?" the man growled. She could only stand still, fear paralysing her. The man raised his sword and she closed her eyes, waiting for the end that never came. She hesitantly looked up to see a different man staring down at her. "Come with me," he spoke "we don't have much time"'. When Reyna's life is torn apart by an uprising, she finds herself in the hands of Eddard Stark, a man of the North. He rescues her from the fate she would've faced upon staying at her home, Tower Hawthorne by bringing her to Winterfell. As the unacknowledged child of a noble lord, she has no last name and the Starks are the only family she has. However, as she starts to grow, her feelings begin to develop. DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the Game of Thrones characters. Reyna and Castle Hawthorne are not real parts of the TV series or the book series!!

"You take pleasure in killing?" Freya inquired. "And you do not?" Sandor countered. "I do not." Just as Freya turned to leave, she added, "You ought to be more honest with yourself, Clegane." This story follows Freya Blackthorne, a pragmatic woman who never lingers in one place for too long. She fights and kills only for coin, caring little for the tangled web of politics. One night, she crosses paths with a pair of men-one a small, keen-eyed fellow who is intrigued by her fighting prowess and seeks her protection. Freya sees this as an opportunity. Yet, upon her arrival in King's Landing, she finds herself drawn to another. Their encounters are filled with frustration and annoyance, sparking tension at every turn. The journey of their hearts will test the boundaries they've constructed, revealing whether two fiercely independent souls can find solace in each other-or whether their defenses will ultimately keep them apart. ------ This story is a slow burn and will also follow the Game of Thrones TV show, with some changes to the plot lines. I do not own any rights to Game of Thrones or its characters and scenes. I only own the characters I create.
