Death, pain, and sorrow are nothing new to Nazioni, Ian, La-teesha, and MeI-Xing.
Nazoni lost her mother at a young age, and the memory still haunts her. It makes her wary of all around her. Trust no one, they will deceive you. Love no one, they will leave you. She lives her life with her aunt and tribe hiding from the violent world In a cavern, deep in the woods.
Ian lives his life running. Running from his past, running from the present, and most importantly the future. He was left to live on his own after a group of the Black Empire attacked his family. What happens when the White Knights find and catch him?
La-teesha was just out collecting berrys for the village, when she is grabbed and thrown into the dangerous part of the war.
Mel-Xing was suppose to watch and make sure he was alive. No interference, what so ever. Keep the other races away from the boy. Keep an eye on him and make sure he gets where he's suppose to be.

Put together a man with a bounty on his head, a woman with too much to lose, throw in a healthy dose of trauma, teenagers, toddlers, sharing a bed with a stranger and you're bound to have a royal mess. Let's not forget the most important part, they can't fall for each other because that just takes the stakes up, you don't just wake up and get attracted to an assassin so you can be used as mafia bait, basically destined not to work. That's what this is, a mess that shouldn't work. But it does. And everything goes to shit because of it. A story about love, assassination, family and healing from trauma.Lengkap
