The Whisper race had always been feared and gazed upon with suspicion. Being led by their fear, the Kitsune race, the hierarchy of all the races, controlled the Whispers, forcing them into slavery so they could keep a close eye on their actions. The abilities that the Whispers possessed were still a mystery to the other races, their shadowy appearances and mysterious nature only furthered the distrust of the Kitsunes.
When the young Kitsune Princess, Thyatira, falls in love with one of the Whisper slaves in her castle, Tanoan, they must keep their love a secret as Thyatira is already betrothed to marry the Kitsune, Nadir. The love she has for a Whisper is the greatest betrayal she could bestow upon the kingdom.
Will Thyatira be able to change the age old beliefs of all three races?
