This is a retelling of the story of Tuor and the fall of the legendary Elven city of Gondolin. It is based on the original 1918 version by J.R.R. Tolkien himself, but updated as much as possible thanks to additional material from both Unfinished Tales (the later Tuor) and The History of Middle-earth series. I must also admit to interpolating my own narrative additions, where definitive source material was lacking, in an effort to round out the story and make it more entertaining for modern audiences. Finally, it is a self-contained story. That is, you don't have to know anything about the world of Middle-earth in order to read and enjoy it.

The Other Ranger [ Lord Of The Rings x Silmarillion ] by Silmarilz1701
111 parts Complete
#1 in Tolkien, #1 in Silmarillion, #1 in Lord of the Rings, #1 in Elrohir, #1 in Dunedain First in LotR series, Fëanoriel Chronicles. Written in 2012. Awaiting rewrite. *** Miril has been raised by Halbarad of the dúnedain after her forebearers came from Arnor, and before that Numenor, and even before that from Beleriand. She and her family are destined for things she doesn't quite comprehend yet. Though a seasoned ranger already, having faced the trials of the North for nearly 40 years, things hardly get easier with age. But before she can step into her own story, she journeys with her best friends, the twin sons of Elrond, running errands leading up to the War of the Ring. Her love of battle and craving for revenge for a death in her past leads to a discovery coming to light that some thought should've been kept hidden. They also might point to the truth of her parentage. When she starts having strange dreams about a swan ship, an oathbreaker, and a shining jewel, things just get crazier. Elrohir/OC *** Internal timeline will stretch from beginning of Lord of the Rings into the Fourth Age post War of the Ring with flashbacks. Needs a rewrite and general editing since it's 6+ years old, but I still like the premise and it spawned many sequels so... Please bear that in mind. *** FOR LORE: -BOOK CANON, not movies -Some liberties taken with the Ban of the Valar. -Technically this is Ninth Walker, not Tenth Walker (a more canon compliant version).

Kissing My Cousin

18 parts Complete Mature

This is a collection of stories, each piece a standalone, which I originally wrote between 2001 and 2005. They center on the life of Maedhros (usually called by his Quenya name of Maitimo in my stories), and his love for Fingon (Findekano). They are in roughly chronological order except the first one, however they can be read in any order. The characters are owned by the estate of JRR Tolkien but the words are mine. Rated for male / male intimacy and some violence. Glossary: Maitimo/Timo = Maedhros, also occasionally Nelyafinwe/Nelyo Macalaure/Cano = Maglor Tyelkormo/Turko = Celegorm Morifinwe/Moro = Caranthir Curufinwe/Curvo = Curufin Telufinwe/Telu = Amras Pityafinwe/Pitya = Amrod (collectively the twins Amras and Amrod are called Ambarussa) Feanaro = Feanor, Maitimo's father (Attar = Quenya word for father) Nerdanel = Maitimo's mother (Amme = Quenya word for mother) Findekano/Kano = Fingon Nolofinwe/Nolo = Fingolfin, Fingon's father Anaire = Fingon's mother Alasse = Findekano's wife (never named by Tolkien, this name made up by me)
