When Pope Alexander hears the news about King Henry beheading his wife and second Queen Anne Boleyn on charges of Adultery and Treason, he sees the perfect opportunity to put one of his daughters on the English throne and control the wild king.

And for the task he chooses his eldest daughter Julianna Borgia. With her for protection and service he sends her brother Cesare. 

At first the King is hesitant to accept especially since he has his sights set on the Lady Jane Seymour. But when he lays eyes on the woman they call Italy's Rose, he soon finds himself falling in love with the vibrant and bold young woman.

But will she be able to live up to the challenge and become a great Queen?

Or will she find herself next up on the executioners block?

After seeing the Medici family Henry, his wife Elizabeth, his mother Margret, as well as all three of his oldest children and daughter in law have their eyes on one Medici girl in particular, Maddalena de'Medici. Maddalena is a breathe of fresh air considered the most beautiful women in the world at the time, has the Grace of a Queen and the mind that can challenge the wit and intellect of all her brothers put together and some.
