Once every 10 years, there is a night where all criminals are released, police services are not available and hospitals are stranded. The 12 hour period, named The Purge, allows anyone to commit and crime....including murder. On this particular Purge, one family is troubled with a helpless man seeking shelter in their house as a gang of odd, masked people come to collect him. Refusing to give him up, the family must fight or face the worst consequence; death.
