hello there
if you decide to read this book of cringe, just know that i wrote this when i was 11 and i'm pretty sure i stole the plot from another fan fiction 🤡 please forgive my 11 year old uneducated idiot-self.
When Marinette Dupain-Cheng leaves Paris for England when she's fifteen. Leaving her best friend, Adrien, behind, Adrien becomes different.
She comes back in five years time, now 20, she hears rumours of a criminal called Chat Noir, and to stay clear of him.
She'd planned on just that. But what happens when fate gets in the way?

Chats eyes widened; he stared at the bluenette, studying her features.
Marinette gasped, "u-um..I-I...!" She squeaked, her heart thumping. What would he do? What COULD he do?
The suited man only seemed to be frozen in time. His eyes glowing in the darkness as he looked at her face, closely, carefully, and from the less creepy distance.
"Marinette?" His voice barely above a whisper.

Chat Noir's one desire is to protect and assist his lady, even when it means putting his own life in jeopardy. Marinette's deepest fears come true when his ride or die sentiment leaves him cold at her feet. Ashamed and guilt-ridden, she turns her miraculous in to Master Fu and asks him to find someone else for the job, but something far more sinister is brewing, and with no LadyBug to come to the rescue, who will Paris, and more importantly, Chat Noir, turn to to save them in their time of need? Written over the course of only a few days, this is a short story that I don't plan on lengthening into a full length tale. I also don't plan on editing unless requested repeatedly. Of course they wanted a dorm together and would move in soon. Marinette was still scared for a villain to show up because they never defeated monarch but also because she hasn't seen Chat in ages. What no one expected was the Mysterious guy in their class showed up at their dorm and is about to twist every thing.
