In a world overrun by 'Violent gods', puny humans always faced death at their doorsteps. For years since the 'gods' rose from the earth itself, humans made a stand for survival, but even with their best efforts they still fought a losing battle. But finally, they found out how to fight back because of their tenaciousness. Those selected few who are born with the capability to wield living weapons that were made by the losing species from the slain 'gods' became the only hope of the whole human race. But in order to wield these weapons, they themselves would have to trade some of their 'humanity' for it.

Among these few warriors, a Boy that came from the 'outside' of the walls that humanity build to keep the 'gods' at bay, and a Girl that lost everything from the 'gods' meet. Kindred souls that both experience Hell and Angst, both hoping for their own pain to finally end. They came into a mutual understanding; for this world, they will fight until the end of their days, they will fight so that others will not experience the pain they felt, they will fight so that even by small chance, they would find the answers to their question. Soul Reapers are the ones who fight against hollows and help their souls pass on while Hollows are souls who lose their hearts to despair or regret, or they remain in the Human World for too long. However, there is a certain hollow who is far from the rest of his kind. This one has a completely different mindset from the others and is rather curious about humans and their way of life. As such, he visits the World of the Living seeing various places and watching humans live their lives. However, something tragic happens as his world change forever when he encounters a certain Devil. Who could this Devil be? What does the future hold for him?
