In a world overrun by 'Violent gods', puny humans always faced death at their doorsteps. For years since the 'gods' rose from the earth itself, humans made a stand for survival, but even with their best efforts they still fought a losing battle. But finally, they found out how to fight back because of their tenaciousness. Those selected few who are born with the capability to wield living weapons that were made by the losing species from the slain 'gods' became the only hope of the whole human race. But in order to wield these weapons, they themselves would have to trade some of their 'humanity' for it.
Among these few warriors, a Boy that came from the 'outside' of the walls that humanity build to keep the 'gods' at bay, and a Girl that lost everything from the 'gods' meet. Kindred souls that both experience Hell and Angst, both hoping for their own pain to finally end. They came into a mutual understanding; for this world, they will fight until the end of their days, they will fight so that others will not experience the pain they felt, they will fight so that even by small chance, they would find the answers to their question. "Are they worth the second chance?"

Australia was once a country with Carnivores and Herbivores coexisting with the Omnivores. Humans, considered class Omnivores, came out with a strange pathogen. During the first week, humans were infected with a virus showing cannibalistic behaviour only to their own species. Biting. Eating the flesh of ones own species. Violent behaviour. It baffled scientists at it's cause, wondering what it is. Animals however, were invisible to the infected Omnivores. Humans were ignoring the Herbivores and Carnivores. Until, they too got infected. Somehow they did. Whatever caused it, they can see both human and animal as their prey. Even if their prey are carnivores. The army lost control within the first month. Airports shut down in areas nearby, while flights didn't dare to go back to Australia. No other country was willing to take Refugees. But one showed compassion and opened it's doors.
