"I made the mistake of falling in love with my best friend, but you made the mistake of breaking her heart." ⌬⌬⌬⌬⌬ It's been over ninety-seven years since a devastating nuclear apocalypse wiped out almost all life on Earth. The only known survivors lived on twelve space stations in Earth's orbit prior to the apocalyptic event. The space stations banded together to form a single massive station called 'The Ark', where about 2,400 people live under the leadership of Chancellor Thelonious Jaha. Resources are scarce, so all crimes-regardless of their nature or severity-are punishable by ejection into space (also known as 'floating') unless the perpetrator is under 18 years of age. After The Ark's life-support systems are found to be critically failing, one-hundred juvenile prisoners are declared 'expendable' and sent to the surface, in a last-ditch attempt to determine whether Earth is habitable again, in a program called 'The 100'. The teens arrive on a drop ship on a seemingly pristine planet they have only seen from space. They attempt to find refuge and supplies at an old military installation, Mount Weather Emergency Operations Centre, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. However, they land some distance from the intended target and soon face other problems. Confronting both the wonders and the dangers of this rugged new world, they struggle to form a tentative community. James 'Jay' Walker, a mechanical engineer on The Ark, is known for being shy and reserved, only speaking when spoken to, and doing the best he can when given a job. His job, although not always the safest, landed him in the social circles of both Finn Collins-the Spacewalker-and Raven Reyes-the daredevil mechanic. But after an incident that James couldn't have seen coming, he lands himself in the Skybox. Then soon after, a trip down to Earth. © copyright | tribecky | 2017

"How are you holding up?" Sinclair asks, eyes scanning her face. Then, before she can respond, he quickly adds, "-and don't lie to me." Ronnie exhales, leaning forward on her elbows. "I'm surviving." ~*~ Ronnie Sinclair, daughter of Jacapo Sinclair, strayed slightly from his footsteps and became one of the youngest zero-G mechanics on the Ark alongside Raven Reyes. Ronnie was recruited to make Chancellor Jaha's mission to send prisoners to the ground possible because of her talents. A problem arises with the drop ship minutes before it is to launch and Ronnie's father sends her aboard to resolve the problem. Before she can exit the drop ship, the doors are sealed and she is sent down to Earth with the delinquents. Her journey on ground is problematic but she fights back at the world that seems to be against her and her friends. I do not own any of the characters on The 100! I only own Ronnie Sinclair and the plot lines that I come up with.
