Halley Jemison, age 17, is not the happiest girl in the world. Having to deal with her mother's death and her drunk, abusive father, she thought her life couldn't get any worse. Sadly, though, the universe just doesn't work that way. After getting used to living her life the way she does, her father suddenly commits suicide, leaving her by herself. She must pack up and move halfway around the country to live with an Aunt Stella she never even heard of. But when she finds a picture of her mother and a "mystery man", will her crazy predictions give her an adventure, or get her stuck in some very awkward situations?
