Earth. Reality. Things that some humans have just understood to be realistic, and existing. Even with their knowledge about the universe, they are still too foolish to see another right inside theirs. The digital world. Within Earth, another universe exists. And an evil, a great evil, is planning to take over it's world, and then ours. That evil, is SkullSatamon. SkullSatamon, acquired all 8 digimon shrines, which held the digital world together. He broke the digital world into pieces, now it's up to Michael and Raven, two ordinary high school students, to put them back together again, and save not only the digital world, but maybe even their own.
