After a quarrel with his mother, Alec decided to cool down and think about what to do next with his life. Not wanting to burden his siblings and the boy with this, he decides to disappear for a few days. What will happen when he meets a new person during those few days? What if this person opens his eyes to a bigger picture? What if Alec will feel something more for them but will keep it a secret but still love Magnus more? What if they stay in touch? What if Magnus discovers their friendship? What if Magnus feels something for them as well? What if Magnus with Alec decide to make her theirs? Alec thought deciding for the both of them is the best way so that Magnus can feel whole again. And it did... Until it didn't. "If this is a bad dream, won't you wake me up?"

Magnus watched Alec momentarily, eyes narrowed as he tried to keep his face set. Alec shifted nervously, his eyes averted from the cat-like eyes staring him down. Suddenly Magnus sighed, releasing his anger along with it as his fists unfurled. "You'll have to apologize to Chairman Meow." He stated calmly as he stepped close to the shorter boy. "He doesn't like being stepped on." Alec glanced up at him curiously, moving closer as well. "That can wait till later right?" He asked but didn't care for an answer with words. Magnus swept his hand up to cup the shorter boys cheek, eyes staring deep into his own. " Yep, but for now...." His voice trailed off as he placed a sweet yet firm kiss upon Alec's lips.

And in that moment I realize I feel no regret. This is one moment I never want to leave, but also one I'll never feel like I want to do over. My life has been full of moments I would give anything to redo, moments I wish I could change, but this one, right here, with Magnus in my arms and the crowd of people just a buzz of high energy behind us, is simply perfect. It's a drop of magic in this otherwise dull world, and I wouldn't change a thing.
