Am I giving up too quickly? My friends need me but.. my chest is so heavy I can't.. no.. won't get up.

The darkness surrounds me, wrapping me in a comfortable blanket. I've given in, I know my friends need me but I don't think I can face reality anymore. Am I doing the right thing by leaving them? No, I know I'm not but how can I save my friends if I couldn't even save one? I let them get dragged away, even when I had the strength to get up and save them. Now my body is too heavy to do anything.

My body has shut down completely, my mind and soul still live. I'm doing the right thing, they'll live.. I won't make it to see my friends in real life. I won't get to see them smile in person. I can't be their shoulder to lean on when things are tough, I can't be their shoulder to cry on when bad things happen. I can't be there to support them anymore, I can't lead them anymore.

I can hear them. They cry out my name trying to wake me up. My soul smiles and I feel the final tear run down my physical body. This is for them. I'm doing the right thing. The darkness suddenly takes hold of me causing me to wake up and gasp in pain as it crawls through my veins. No.. no this.. this wasn't.. no, nonono.. I cry out, the burning feeling in my chest becoming unbearable.

"You think I would ever EVER set you free?" The dark figures hand forces me to look up at him from my spot in the dark room as he grips me with his magic. He leans in close to whisper something in my ear.

"You're stuck with me," I can see his black eyes, I will never forget them.. They were darker than anything that I had ever seen before.

"Whether you or I like it or not."

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I was in a room with TVs all stacked on the wall in front of me. I felt of ping of pain in my head and my memory came flushing back. Suddenly, the TVs flashed to life, all sitting on static. Jack's face came up on the screens, with each one showing a different part of it, making it look more like a movie theater screen. Well, a distorted version of him. Hey eyes were pitch black with a green iris, and there was a slit on his neck with a layer of dried blood. "J-jack? H-how? Why?" "You don't remember me either? Jeez you guys are just the definition of out of sight out of mind, huh?" he cradled the knife in his hands. His image glitched and convulsed on the TV, which I assumed was some kind of special effect. "If you're not him, then...who are you?" "Me? Well.." he giggled. All the TVs went black. As he spoke the next sentence, he would appear on a different screen with each statement. "I'm the one...the only...the all-powerful...Antisepticeye!" ----------- Mark decides to stay at Jack's house during a special, one-time convention over in Brighton. But ever since he got there, Jack was acting strangely. First being late to the airport, nightmares, even having full blown panic attacks. Mark does his best, but he has absolutely no idea what's wrong. Soon enough, he finds out. And it's NOT was he was expecting. What happens when secrets are revealed, and faded memories return? _____________________________________ A/N: While Mark/Markiplier does play a role at a main character, this is NOT a Septiplier fan fiction. Mark and Jack are both single is this story, but only friends, nothing more.
