Book 1 of my Changelings Series
I was 11 when I ran away from home, and 11 when I stole the face of a boy and used it to get my freedom, even if it wasn't much. I was 11 when I met the kids who became my family, the kids I have to protect.
My brother can disappear, and my other can explode. My sister can control fire, and the other can walk through walls. We are not normal. We're probably not human. That's not really our problem though.
Now I'm 16 and I'm getting pretty tired of running. DELTA is coming for us, to destroy our home, our identity, and our lives if we don't listen, and God knows I won't let them take my family

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Started in the light, pulled to the dark ( a Sharkboy and lavagirl story)
I know what you must be thinking. Why not name this title ' the adventures of Sharkboy, lavagirl and whatever my name is'? Well because that would of ruin the whole story. For this is not really my story, i was not created as a dream. I'm an actual human and I did not come from max, nor planet drool. I was born on earth like every other normal child there is. The only thing different about me is that I have a special power. Although I don't seem to know about this power, nor understand how to use it I'm a main target for everyone. I can rather save everybody from a terrible event or destroy everyone within seconds. Because of this I am very weary around people and shy too. As I try my best to blend in it becomes harder and harder each day to keep my self from exposing this energy. The worse part is I don't even know I have it! Well not until later on. After Lucas discovers that he is an HV himself, he meets a girl named Rachel who possesses a virus that can generate flames out of thin air. They are soon on the run from the authorities who are trying to kill them on government orders, all the while making their way to the safe haven of a mysterious city that Rachel is from. Action, secrets, adventure, and survival are all prevalent in Fluttering Darkness as Lucas and Rachel journey to the city of HV's. ***** The official theme of the book is Dreams, by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, so there's a link to that over to the side. Delta Force
Delta Force was a long ongoing original project that I never intend to finish, it had been in the works from 2019-2020 and since then has not been touched. It follows the story of an unknown protagonist only known as "Mike" in the far distant future and his team of elite soldiers as they experience many different adventures from fighting space dragons to going to prison to fighting on a battlefield. It was planned to be a book series too, I just run out of ideas and passion for it. Not to mention, the genre quickly turned from sci-fi to supernatural. However, it is still worth the read in my opinion :)Complete
Half Hero ⚡️ {Superhero Adventure Scifi}
I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit). Problem is, I'm not so great at controlling whatever the hell it is I've become...Not to mention I'm on the run from my country for a teensy-weensy act of treason while being chased by a shadowy masked mute who may or may not have superhuman abilities too (but is definitely stupid hot under his off-putting disguise). Hybrid: The Awakening
Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales. Unrealistic dreams that you'd fall asleep to, silently wishing for them to come true. At least, that was what these three teenagers thought. It turns out that there is so much more to their simple universe than they ever could have imagined. After each finding a strange alien artifact, the teens are suddenly thrusted into an intergalactic war. Alien species everywhere are trying to hunt down the most powerful weapons in the galaxy. And they are the ones in possession of it. When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.Complete
