When Nadar gets a job at the local Cafè Étoiles, she finds herself becoming friends with her coworker Ala and frequent-visitor Galen. This, however, leads to trouble as they discover that she's hiding something. Soon, Ala and Galen find themselves tangled in Nadar's world of magicks and fear. They're dragged into conflict with dangerous people, and find themselves running alongside Nadar. How will they handle this new type of "different"?
