A boy with the name of a French painter (Claude Monet) is an introvert and an over-thinker - anxious at the troublesome experiences a senior lives during the school year. He constantly find himself in a bind when talking to other students until he finds Marci whose giant cat-like personality becomes a magnet to Monet's peculiar interests.

With every stroke of the brush, he let out feelings. Emotions were all over the canvas that was colored with warm and cool colors. It wasn't very often that he got confused over what he was painting or what emotions he was feeling. He had a new emotion, or a weird mix of emotions. Love and lust, confusion, fear, joyfulness.
