"This is where I put the introduction to this shithole of a story, right?" Des said, gesturing to the computer screen.
     "Yes, that's right." Ivory nodded his head. 
     "Well good, now can we cut to the narrator explaining our lives now?" Des said, annoyance in his voice.
     Des and Ivory are normal students at End King Academy for Gifted Students. This school, is a magic school. 
     "What else is there to say? This is gonna be a generic slice-of-life book, isn't it?" Des complained.
     "Probably." Ivory agreed, straightening his tie.

My breath hitched as he leaned in until our noses touched. "You just what?" My entire body heated as I felt his muscular chest pressed against mine. I bit my lip and tried to control my stupid hormones, but it made it worse when Noah's gaze went to my lips. I saw his Adam's apple bob as he continued to stare at my lips. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. She catches the new instructor's curiosity, and her identity is threatened. He claims to be her mate, but she knows that her kind don't have a mate and desperately tries to avoid him. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha.
