Kairi was a... moderately normal girl. She was smart, funny (well, SHE liked to think so anyway) and had a pretty good taste in music (although she has admitted to singing along to mainstream songs once or twice, they're just so catchy!) She was also in love with Wesley Ford, a.k.a., the guy who disappeared. Everyone thinks he's dead. And as much as she tries to reject the idea, it lingers in her mind. For a year she waits for the memories of the last night she saw him -- the last night anyone saw him -- to return. But she can't wait around for someone to give her the answers anymore, so she sets out to find them herself. With the help of a new face around town -- one that seems familiar to Kai, but no one else -- she begins to slowly remember the night Wes disappeared, but those memories might have been better off not being remembered. Answers, as always, lead only to more questions--questions that no one can answer. While Kai struggles to find answers in her memories of that night, she starts to realize there might be a reason she forgot these things in the first place. And that reason... just may have a familiar face.
