Protective and Possessive

Maya has always been a shy girl, not having many friends. She preferred to learn about the world from her books. This also leads to her being very oblivious to the things around her.

Alex is Maya's stalker and has been since middle school. He never sends her letters, threats, or does anything to let her know of his existence. He convinced himself that it was all for her safety.

Alex was always content with watching the happy Maya from afar until that boy came into the picture. He was going to hurt her, and Alex couldn't allow that. He will become her savior and protect her from the dangers of this harsh and cruel world, even if that means keeping her away from it.
