This story picks up six years after A Year In The Life ended. Rory and Logan's son is five and starting kindergarten.

Rory and Logan meet one day in August 2021 in a coffee shop in New York City. There will be drama, but not Rogan drama. They will have to deal with the ups and downs of meeting and reuniting. The end game is always Rogan. The following is background information for the story ahead. Basically-what happened during the twelve years between the proposal and the meeting in New York.

Rory over hears a conversation a week before graduation that changes everything.

Rory hasn't cried since he lost his mother at a young age. Now he has met what seems like the love of his life in his first year of secondary school. Will it work out, can his love blossom or will tragedy strike his life.

What would have happened if Rory and Logan's relationship went differently in college?

It's September 2014 and Rory and Logan have not seen each-other since Rory's graduation 7 years ago. AU ROGAN slow burn. An alternative to their Vegas agreement. Pre-AYITL, post-OS. I do not own Gilmore Girls.

This story takes place 7 years after Rory turned down Logan's proposal. What happens when Logan and Rory run into each other in New York City? Logan lives in London and Rory lives in NY. Are they still running into obstacles? Can Rory save Logan from a life of unhappiness? I thought they had a real love in the series and wanted to finish their story. I didn't like most of the AYITL series, (except Fall) especially how Rory was portrayed. I have put this story out as my version. I think we all should be thankful to Amy Sherman Palladino and Dan Palladino for their wonderful characters and, of course, I don't own these characters.
