Princess Allura was always different. She enjoyed the smaller things in life. This saying, she still would never dream of running away. In fact she loved her kingdom dearly, and was excited for the time she was finally able to rule. But it was proving to be very difficult since she was called the most extraordinarily, breathtakingly beautiful girl to have ever lived. People would have gave anything to touch her, look at her, or just to be near her. It was said that, "Even her heart matches her beauty" Little did they know, they have never been more wrong. Fern was the reject. Or at least she thought she was. She didnt like people and especially hated the snobs. All her life she was told she "wasn't very pretty." She guessed that was to be expect since she lived a life through the streets and considering very little was known about her she expected people to make up their own stories. And her cockiness and rude attitude probably didnt make the stories any better. But none of that mattered to her. As long as they knew that she hated anything that had to do with royalty. Especially the well loved princess. Everyone in Ballavura has a story. And with these two worlds being so different its impossible to combine them....right?

With her almost 20 year marriage beyond repair, Demi Meadows is sick of playing games and being taken for granted. She needs something real, and someone who truly loves her instead of cheating on her for years. Her kids are almost out of the house, so it would be a perfect time to find a person to share her life with, and this time she isn't going to settle for anything less than the perfect person and the perfect love. But could that person be someone that she would never expect, like a one night stand that turns into a frequent visitor? Or is it too risky to go after someone who could rip her heart in two because of the different places they are in life and the similarities to her ex? What if perfect is an illusion? What if finding a perfect love is an illusion, because sometimes you can make your own perfect?
