Jared has a huge crush on a boy called Jacob.  He wants to go on a date with him, but he doesn't want to risk losing what he hasn't got.  He doesn't know how things will go.  He also doesn't want things to end badly the way things have been ending badly for his best friend Christina.  Jared is always thinking about Jacob, even day dreams about him during the day.

Jacob has feelings for Jared, but he thinks that Jared will never notice him.  He's always smiling at Jared to get his attention and it always does, but yet the day seems like a waste.  He thinks that Jared doesn't like him.  Jacob knows that he's gay with his actions.  Jacob is considering just going up to Jared and asking him out on a date.  But he doesn't want to be put down.  Jacob is just going to go for it, he wants Jared that badly.
