Unexpected. Quick. Unpreventable. Annabeth died in Percy's arms. Uncontrollable grief rips through him at the loss, his power scaring those around him. In an attempt to help diminish Percy's grief Piper uses Charmspeak. But when it goes terribly wrong, Percy can no longer remember Annabeth at all!
Once the demigods learn, Annabeth may not truly be dead they start out on another quest. But facing challenges with this new version of Percy, their limits are tested.
In the end, it seems the only thing that can reverse the Charmspeak is a kiss. But from who? Annabeth? Nico? Or is someone else destined to break the spell?
