The Golden Knot

The King is dead. Four of the five strands of the Golden Knot - the ethereal tie created by the Mothers that represents the essence of the five great concepts of nature, resides with the weak and volatile Heg (Magic user), Crown Prince Aze'mar.

With growing political uncertainty, the great western continent now lies at the brink of civil war. More seriously, The Last Gate of the Echo Lands is beginning to loosen.

Time is ticking. The last of the Master Hegs must uncover their true power and reunite the Shattered Strand (The missing fifth strand) to harness the power of The Golden Knot and seal the Last Gate; the mouth of the Echo Lands.

If they fail, The Echo Lands will open, and the monsters that lie in waiting behind it will roam free across The Sire.
