Sabi nila, ang pag-iisang dibdib daw ang pinakamahalagang bagay dapat mangyari sa dalawang taong nagmamahalan. Na kung saan nanunumpa ang bawat isa na magmamahalan habangbuhay sa lungkot man at sa saya, sa hirap at sa ginhawa, o sa sakit man at kalusugan.
At iyon ang naging akala ko. Pero magmula nung magpakasal ako kay Matthew, isang mayaman na bakla, ay walang humpay na paghihirap ang aking dinanas. Pang-iinsulto, pagpapahiya sa maraming tao, pagbubugbog at kung ano pang pagpapasakit ay aking natamo.
Gayunpaman, hindi pa rin nagbago ang pagmamahal ko sa aking asawa. Mahal na mahal ko siya higit pa sa aking buhay at handa akong magtiis kahit gaano pa ito kahirap. Matatawag nga akong martir pero naniniwala ako na darating din ang araw na ako ay mapapatawad at mamahalin niyang muli.
