The honeymoon was over Rafe had wanted Tanya the moment he saw her. When he proposed, she'd been deliciously happy--happy to give up her job without a second thought, and devote herself to decorating their beautiful new home in Sydney's most prestigious neighborhood. She hadn't realized then that the only intimacy he wanted with her was in their bed. Rafe put business--including his cool blond personal assistant--first. Tanya was not about to spend the rest of her life waiting for a man who thought another woman was more important than his wife. The honeymoon was over. The marriage was at the breaking point. 'I want you, Tanya. I want you very much.' 'I know that, Rafe.' It was why he'd married her. 'I'd do just about anything to get you back,' he said, obviously hating the necessity, but unable to deny the depth of his desire. 'Wanting is not enough, Rafe,' Tanya stated with bitter determination. 'There has to be understanding.'

Love was never kind to Alani. Her first relationship left her bruised-physically and emotionally. The second felt like a game, ending in betrayal. The third wore the mask of sincerity, but he only wanted what he could take. After three heartbreaks that shattered her spirit, Alani gave up on love altogether. Instead, she chose herself. With a suitcase in one hand and broken dreams in the other, she set off to rediscover her purpose-through the quiet shores of Indonesia, the dreamy cafés of France, and finally, back home where she reclaimed her life by buying her dream house and car. She wasn't looking for love. But love found her anyway. He was everything the others weren't-tall, grounded, warm, and endlessly patient. Alani gave him every reason to leave... but he stayed. Six months later, he proposed in a rose garden. Another six months, and they're standing at the altar. Everything is perfect. Until one of her exes walks through the door to stop the wedding. But which one? And what could he possibly say that might change everything?
