The crew of Camp Campbell had long left the all familiar grounds of camp for the horrid school days ahead. On the last day it seemed that everyone was slowly trickling out of sight, except for one child. Max had been left by, in his words, his 'shitty parents' and left with David. Gwen had left a few days prior due to an inconvenience with a possible job landing. David decided after a while of thinking that Max deserved better, even if he was risking being sued for 'kidnapping'. He decided to take him under his care until he could fight for Max properly.

After a few days of being there, he's had enough, and runs back to the closed camp. When David goes there to check the camp, like her does every fall, and see's Max there. When he try's to take Max home, Max refuses, and says he's staying at home because he can't take being there anymore, and David being David, try's to put his positive twist on it, but what's David going to do when he realizes it's not going to work on Max?
