Letha Meyer is just another girl with a dark past. A past that haunts her everyday. She lives through life, trusting only one person, Pierson, who has been at her side since they were just children. However, his friendship is not enough to blur the darkness in her mind. She drowns herself in drugs, and alcohol, one night finding herself at a drug dealer's house.
That night, her antics come to an end, and what follows, changes her completely.

But her death is not the end of the darkness. In the world of Rei, the Spirit Realm, she is something to fear. Something powerful. Something dangerous. Something different. The Knights of Rei stand at her side, but the darkness in her mind will either destroy them, or save them. What path will she choose?

Aleah Sullivan wakes up to the sound of her alarm blaring. Another day at the café. She swings her legs over the bed, stretching and yawning, feeling the dull ache in her muscles that has become familiar over the years.
