Joshua is a seventeen year-old who always has depression, anxiety, and regret on the mind. He finds himself taking drugs to ease his mental pain. However this only leads to more harmful thoughts. He goes to school and has to put on a front everyday. With no good friends, caring parents, or a lover, he finds that he was chosen as just to be a lamb for God to put curses on to better everyone else around him.

One day on Joshua's way to school, he encounters a strange ecstatic girl, claiming to be his spouse. Joshua of course just thought that it was a prank by the group of girls called "The sluts", so he ignored it. When he got home from school however, that girl was at his house. Her father, brother, grandmother, cousin, soon-to-be in-laws and her boyfriend are trying hard to get her to see sense. They just don't know if they're trying too hard or not at all.
