He goes to school and has to put on a front everyday. With no good friends, caring parents, or a lover, he finds that he was chosen as just to be a lamb for God to put curses on to better everyone else around him.

One day on Joshua's way to school, he encounters a strange ecstatic girl, claiming to be his spouse. Joshua of course just thought that it was a prank by the group of girls called "The sluts", so he ignored it. When he got home from school however, that girl was at his house.
